Each wooden Christmas decoration starts as one of my hand-drawn illustrations before being printed on lovely birch plywood and finished in my Medway studio. Light, cheerful, and a little bit whimsical. Perfect for adding Bob & Bee magic to your tree.

‘Bob and Bee’ is just me and my love for illustrating and printing funny little creatures and their worlds.

What do I make? Digital illustrations and Risograph prints inspired by curious little critters, and the wonderful natural world they live in.

Why? Because I want everyone to love these bugs, birds and beasts as much as I do.

My current obsession: The tiny little (unsung) superheroes who decompose the detritus around them. These guys are sometimes slimy, often pretty gross (rotten corpse for lunch, anyone!), and a little wiggly – but all vitally important. And the ones I draw are pretty darn cute! Let’s get more slugs, beetles, worms and funny fungi on people’s walls. And ignite your curiosity to learn how slugs (and friends) are rocking our world, not just eating your veggie plot. Move over, bees and butterflies* the detritivore crew are coming through!

*I’m still a big fan of the pollinators – but they tend to hog the ‘wee beasties’ limelight!
